IFM Publishes Four New Investigative Studies
As part of its ongoing initiative to examine critical issues to the derivatives industry and expand knowledge on the markets, the IFM releases four independent studies. All studies were subjected to rigorous academic per-review process to meet quality and credibility standards.
IFM Courses Approved for Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) CPE Credits
IFM makes it easy for GARP certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Energy Risk Professional (ERP) to meet their continuing education requirements through risk-relevant courses. In an effort to accommodate the schedules and learning needs of its membership, GARP chose the IFM as an approved training provider to help certified professional meet their ongoing educational requirements. GARP is a not-for-profit global membership organization that represents more than 150,000 professionals from banks, investment management firms, government agencies and academic institutions.

Many hedge funds and registered investment advisers (RIAs) that advise a registered investment company (or registered fund) now must pass the NFA Series 3 Exam and register with the National Futures Association (NFA) to conduct futures business. Alternative currently registered professionals in the U.K or Canada may fulfill the requirement by passing the Series 32 exam instead.
