Smart Financial Regulation: New Rules of the Road

A Smart Financial Regulation Roundtable, hosted by the IFM and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, was held in Washington DC. To follow up on the event, a report has been prepared that summarizes the various ideas and discussions.  The report incorporates the ideas shared by 15 speakers, as well as a keynote speech on regulation by CFTC Commissioner, Brian Quintenz. The narrative throughout the roundtable was threaded on how we can move forward with financial regulation in the coming months and years.
