Give-Up Professional: Micro-Credential

Give-Up Professional is a unique derivatives industry micro-credential. It enables anyone from industry newcomers to established industry professionals to develop skills and demonstrate competency in give-up processing. The knowledge gained through this micro-certification is essential to understanding how give ups are deployed in the futures industry and enhances your ability to apply concepts, processes and methodologies in real-world scenarios.

Course content is based on input from leading futures industry brokers, industry standards and best practices. Employers also will find that the micro-certificate is more cost-effective than developing and implementing a traditional in-house employee training program — and even more so in today's geographically distributed workforce.

The first course of four courses in the online Give-Up Professional micro-credential program is now available with subsequent courses to be released in the coming months. Course subjects covered in the program include: 

• Level 1 — Give Up Essentials 
• Level 2 — Give Up Essentials 2: Troubleshooting Real-World Scenarios
• Level 3 — Average Pricing 
• Level 4 — Give Up Agreements 

Candidates who successfully complete the four level certificate courses and receive a passing grade of 80% or higher on the assessment in each course earn their FIA-IFM micro-credential.

The Give Up Professional micro-credential can be stacked and combined with seven additional courses to earn an Operations Specialist Certification.
